Polovtsian Dance
Alexander Borodin (1833-1887) was a chemistry teacher by profession and his busy work schedule limited his activities as a composer. This adaptation of one of the Polovtsian Dances (Polovtsi a people) from his unfinished opera Prince Igor is one of his most famous melodies.
