Morning Mood
This famous melody comes from the music which the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) wrote for the premiere of the play Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen, based on the fairytale Peer Gynt. Morning Mood occurs at the beginning of Act 4 and depicts sunrise in the Sahara desert.
