The Flight of the Bumblebee
This is one of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov 's (1844-1908) most famous orchestral works, here rewritten for the piano. The piece comes from the opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan where the Tsar turns into an bee in order to fly away and visit his father, stinging various people in the process. It contains five pages of chromatic runs.
